Fastener Training Week - Cleveland

Date: November 2nd - 6th, 2015
Location: IFI Training Center, Independence, OH, USA

The Fastener Training Institute® is merging its services with the Industrial Fasteners Institute to offer a seven-day intensive version of FTI’s advanced Certified Fastener Specialist™ technical training course.

Fastener Training Week features everything that a trainee would encounter in the standard seven-course CFS™ training, only all on successive days. This allows students to complete this course in five days as opposed to seven days scattered over the duration of several months. Furthermore, associates of marketing fastener groups will be eligible for significant discount rates on enrollment fees. After completing the course and taking a final examination, participants will be qualified to obtain the Certified Fastener Specialist™ (CFS) accreditation.

Fastener Training Week includes educational labs coached by leading industry exhibitors such as Carmen Vertullo of CarVer Consulting, Salim Brahimi of IBECA Technologies and Laurence Claus of NNi Training and Consulting. The curriculum will cover thread, material, process and dimensional specifications; quality systems; lot traceability; test reports; print checking and tolerances; thread gaging and dimensional inspection; and torque tension. On these topics there will be hands-on exercises, quizzes to strengthen understanding, and facility tours of the manufacturing and testing facilities Cardinal Fastener, Element Materials Technology and ND Industries.

Some of the most well-known attractions for show attendees to visit in the Independence and Cleveland area include the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Cleveland Museum of Art, West Side Market, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and PlayhouseSquare Center.
