Southco’s New Steel Rotary Latches Feature Hand Actuation

Southco has announced the release of new steel, hand actuated rotary latches within their R4 line of latches. Their unique hand actuated style eliminates the need for a separate cable and actuator, and compact design enables minimal protrusion as well as easy mounting for the inside of doors.

The latches are also offered in both single-stage latching and two-stage latching varieties for secure latching at low closing forces. Mounting hole options for these new latches include through hole, metric, and imperial mounting styles.

Southco’s complete Rotary Latch System uses three components - Rotary Latch, Cable, and Actuator - to create remote actuation suitable for a variety of application needs.

• A wide range of actuator options including slide, push-to-open and pull-handle styles
